I’mJerrod.

Providing you with a 20/20 look at the place you call home.

My Story.

From fourteen years on the Wichita Fire Department, and 20 years of residential construction experience, I’ve gotten pretty familiar with houses. Add on some specialized training, certificates and credentials, and yes, I’m qualified. But let’s be honest, that’s not really what you want to read here. Let’s do a lightning round instead:

I was raised on a farm, I know what hard work is; I rode in the back of pickup trucks and drank from a garden hose; I wrestled in college, but no need to be concerned, I’m definitely retired; I married my high school sweetheart, and we’re currently living out those 50 amazing years they just happened to skip in the movie, The Notebook; we’ve got two incredible kids, well, young adults now, whose names we had picked out when we were 16; that beautiful bride of mine is an educator of 25 years; the callouses on my finger tips are from pick’n on my ole 6 string guitar; between that Martin HD28 and wood working, well now you know my therapy routine; I put ketchup on my hash browns, salsa on my eggs, and believe to my core that there’s no such thing as too much honey; I’m 5’8”, allergic to penicillin, a little bit compulsive, loyal like a Labrador, and get by on love’n Jesus and Jen. (Take a minute and let that sink in. At this point, there should be no concerns regarding transparency).

Let’s Do This.

It can be pretty stressful to assume a position that requires you to have all of the answers; don’t do that. One of the smartest things any of us can do is, surround ourselves with great people who have great strengths in the areas of our weaknesses. When buying a home, you have enough to consider and plenty of life’s precious margin to protect; we got you!

Let’s go ahead and address what we’re both thinking: You don’t want your trust mishandled, and we don’t want our integrity compromised. To keep that from happening, we lead with unwavering sincerity and work really hard at being excellent. Not only is that the right way to do business, we’ve found it’s both a great place to start a relationship and a great way to keep it.

Corner cutting and task trimming, just to reap a temporary reward, has become way too normal. The best way to combat that is by learning to appreciate the incomparable power of humility. And the best way to gain humility is to submit yourself to an authority far surpassing any industry standard. We say faith, family and friendships, and that’s exactly what we mean. The reality is when serving people is genuinely your process, extraordinary projects just happen.
